Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 17, 2025

By accessing or using ShipSlash's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
ShipSlash provides shipping solutions, including but not limited to, rate comparisons, label generation, and shipment tracking. Our services are designed to streamline the shipping process for businesses and individuals.

You agree to use our services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. Users are prohibited from using the services for any unlawful purposes, attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or disrupting or interfering with the security or functionality of our services.

ShipSlash may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

1. User Registration & Financial Liability
By creating a ShipSlash account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your legal name, company name, address, and contact details. This information may be shared with carriers as needed to fulfill shipping services. You are responsible for all applicable Service Fees and charges incurred through your account, as outlined in the Billing section below.

2. Billing
i. Changes to Billing, Prices, and Policies
ShipSlash reserves the right to modify billing procedures, prices, promotions, and policies at any time without prior notice. All updates will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
ii. Account Funding and Auto-Reload
ShipSlash operates on a prepaid balance system. Clients are required to add funds to their ShipSlash account in order to use services such as shipping label generation, insurance, and any other value-added services.
Clients may manually add funds at any time. Alternatively, clients can enable Auto-Reload, which will automatically charge the chosen payment method to replenish their balance to a preset amount when funds fall below a defined threshold. By enabling Auto-Reload, you authorize ShipSlash to initiate charges as needed to maintain sufficient funds in your account.
iii. Refund Policy
-
Cheaper Rates: ShipSlash does not issue refunds for transactions that could have been completed at a lower rate, unless the transaction qualifies for a refund under other provisions of this policy.

-
Unused Label Refund Requests: If a label has not been used and a refund request is properly submitted within the carrier's required timeframe, and your ShipSlash account is active and in good standing, ShipSlash will issue a credit to your account balance for the full value of the label, subject to carrier approval. Refund approval and processing times are determined by the carrier and may vary.

-
Unused Label Refund Request Rejections: You accept the risk that a carrier may deny a refund request for an unused label. ShipSlash will only credit your account if the refund is approved by the carrier.

-
Outstanding Account Balance: If your account has any outstanding balance, including unpaid fees, ShipSlash may withhold any refund credit until your account is brought current. Additionally, any outstanding amounts may be deducted from approved refunds at ShipSlash’s sole discretion.

-
Refund of Account Balance: You may request a refund of your remaining ShipSlash balance by contacting billing@shipslash.com. Your account must be active and in good standing at the time of the request. Refunds will be processed at ShipSlash’s discretion.

-
Returned Packages: Packages returned to sender do not automatically qualify as unused labels. If ShipSlash, at its sole discretion, determines that a returned label qualifies for a refund, a credit will be issued to your account minus any applicable refund fees. By requesting such refunds, you agree to assign ShipSlash the right to pursue any claims with the carrier related to those services.
iv. Account Closure
You may close your ShipSlash account at any time by contacting customer support. Upon closure, any remaining balance is nonrefundable but may remain available for a limited time in case of account reactivation. ShipSlash may also suspend or terminate accounts for nonpayment or violation of its Terms of Service.
v. Billing Entity
Charges made through ShipSlash may appear under the name of ShipSlash or one of its affiliated partners or entities. You agree and consent to such billing arrangements, including any future changes to the billing entity.
vi. Contact & Billing Information
It is your responsibility to maintain up-to-date billing and contact information on your ShipSlash account. Any billing issues or service notices will be sent to the contact information provided. Failure to maintain accurate information may result in service disruption.
If you have any questions, concerns, or inquiries regarding billing or this billing policy, please contact us at billing@shipslash.com.

ii. Termination or Suspension by ShipSlash
ShipSlash reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend or terminate your account, your access to the platform, or your use of any ShipSlash services at any time for any reason or no reason at all. Additionally, ShipSlash reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the platform or its services at any time without liability.

However, any rights or obligations that are intended by nature to survive termination, such as payment obligations, indemnification, or limitations of liability, will remain in effect.
iv. Data Handling After Termination
Following termination, your account data may be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. While certain data may be preserved for legal or operational purposes, ShipSlash has no obligation to store, maintain, or retrieve any data once your account is closed.
